Through one-to-one mentor/mentee relationships, TRAM strives to empower young people to pursue excellence, productivity and responsibility; to succeed in school, friend and family relationships, and to combat substance abuse and violence.
Training high school students to get hired for jobs with local businesses and organizations.
The After-School Program is for students in 2nd through 8th grade and meets after school, Monday through Friday from 3 pm to 6 pm.
The mentoring program is for 2nd through 8th grade students who are intentionally matched with an adult or high school student for one hour a week. Mentoring can occur at the student's school or during program hours in our classrooms.
The After-School Program is for students in 2nd through 8th grade and meets Monday through Friday from 3 pm to 6 pm. We provide homework help and healthy snacks. Students get plenty of time for fun exercise outdoors. We use the PeaceJam Juniors curriculum as the basis of our programming.
We are piloting our new job preparedness program during the 2023-2024 academic year. High school students will be trained in resume-building, interviewing, and basic job skills. We will then connect them to partnering businesses and organizations for an interview. After getting hired, students participate in progress meetings.
Three Rivers Area Mentoring needs your help. We are looking for volunteers for our after-school program and mentors. 100% of donations go to fund our programs.
