ABOUT
Three Rivers Area Mentoring (TRAM) is a 503(c)(3) non-profit organization that began in 1994. Our primary focus is to match school-aged youth/mentees with adult or high school age volunteers/mentors. As our mission statement states, “through one-to-one mentor/student relationships, TRAM strives to empower young people to pursue excellence, productivity and responsibility; to succeed in school, friend and family relationships; and to combat substance abuse and violence.” Our overall goal is to encourage youth to see the value of education, graduate from high school, and to pursue further education necessary for their chosen vocation/occupation.
TRAM is a recipient of
St. Joseph County United Way and
Three Rivers Area Community Foundation funding.

Every member of our board of directors is a thought leader who has made significant contributions to our society.
Each one brings a unique set of skills and expertise to our organization. Most of our board members have been mentors and have worked for TRAM in some capacity, including leading the organization as executive directors.
